How to do the Landmine Romanian Deadlift

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding the weight in front of your thighs.
  2. Hinge at your hips, pushing them back while keeping your back flat and knees slightly bent.
  3. Lower the weight along your legs until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings.
  4. Drive your hips forward to return to standing, squeezing your glutes at the top.

Form tips

  • Keep the weight close to your body throughout the lift.
  • Maintain a neutral spine — do not round your lower back.
  • Drive through your heels and think about 'pushing the floor away'.
