How to do the Cable Palm Rotational Row
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, facing the cable machine. Attach a single handle to a middle pulley and hold it with your right hand, palm facing downwards.
- Bend slightly at the hips and knees, keeping your back straight, and extend your right arm forward.
- Pull the handle towards your body, rotating your palm to face upwards as you bring your elbow back, keeping it close to your torso.
- Slowly extend your arm back to the starting position, rotating your palm back to face inwards. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to your left hand.
Form tips
- Focus on squeezing your back muscles at the top of the movement.
- Use a lighter weight to ensure proper form and gradually increase the resistance as you get stronger.
- Exhale as you pull the handle towards your body and inhale as you extend it back.
