How to do the Band Standing Leg Curl

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding to a weight cage for balance. Attach a resistance band to a low anchor point and loop the other end around your right ankle. Shift your weight onto your left leg.
  2. Curl your right leg by bending your knee, bringing your heel towards your glutes while keeping your upper leg stationary.
  3. Slowly return to the starting position, straightening your leg and controlling the resistance band.
  4. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.

Form tips

  • Focus on squeezing your hamstrings at the top of the movement to enhance muscle activation.
  • Maintain an upright posture throughout the exercise; avoid leaning forward or backward.
  • Keep your supporting knee slightly bent to maintain balance.
