How to do the Arnold Press Cable Resistance Band Standing

  1. Stand tall with your back straight, feet shoulder-width apart, in the middle of a resistance band.
  2. Hold the band handles with your arms bent close to your chest and palms facing back.
  3. Push the handles up, while rotating your arms and hands to look forward, and extending your arms overhead.
  4. Return to the initial position by reversing the movement and repeat for the desired repetitions.

Form tips

  • Exhale as you press the band overhead and inhale as you lower it back down.
  • Use a resistance band with appropriate tension to ensure you can perform the exercise with good form.
  • Maintain a neutral wrist position to reduce strain on your joints.
