How to do the Hanging Leg Raises

  1. Lie on your back with your legs straight and hands at your sides or under your lower back.
  2. Keeping your legs straight, lift them toward the ceiling until they form a 90-degree angle with your torso.
  3. Slowly lower your legs back down without letting them touch the floor.
  4. Repeat for the prescribed number of reps.

Form tips

  • Maintain a neutral spine and engaged core throughout the movement.
  • Use a controlled tempo — avoid using momentum to complete the rep.
  • Breathe steadily, exhaling during the effort phase of the movement.
